Hi William , My name is Joe. I am retired USMC GYSGT. This is my story, You are correct 100%. What you have been through is called a horrific episode in your lives. Listen i experienced the same as you, . I still cry when humans are not around, my heart hurts, I feel guilty knowing that just maybe I could have done a little more to help someone else in some of our firefight. Lots of times I ask myself, why was I so lucky, and a bunch of times I thought of —————but I didn’t do it.(the reason why is because I’m not a quitter, ) my advice to you is go to the VA and get help NOW . Listen what we have gone through no one will erase from our freaking brain, but they help you live with that problem. Don’t miss out on life . I take medication now and I’ll be on it the rest of my life. So what. We cannot change the past, but we can the future. GOOD LUCK TO YOU. WARRIOR. JOE R. GYSGT USMC.

Short to cutting that part of a persons brain out I don’t known how. No multiply the scene by 300 days or so, give me a break, more BS. No one can ever over come the sights and sounds and smells of a battle and the continuous day after day of the same thing. Just how will you erase this from a mans mind, When you honestly figure it out, if I haven’t died first please let me know.
